Logistics Payroll Administrator 1

As an admin, you will be responsible for aiding in the processing of Drivers' payroll, managing AP/AR invoices, and maintaining data files and reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process payroll by established deadline including but not limited to, entering driver daily loads, special pay requests, reviewing discrepancies, and partnering with supervisor on issues
- Escalate any payroll concerns, and load errors to the appropriate department
- Perform limited day-to-day processing/coding of accounts payable invoices, and submit reimbursements as needed
- Prepare weekly and monthly load summaries to send to accounts receivable and assigned customers
- Receive, assemble, sort, and track all load paperwork for customer invoicing and verify data is correct
- Update truck and trailer documentation as instructed by management (licensing, permits, registration
- Set up and maintain Fleet Fuel cards
- Maintain uniform ledger by keeping employee uniform orders updated and work with vendors to ensure orders are fulfilled
- Maintain a professional demeanor dealing with critical/confidential information
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications: Education
High School Diploma/GED
Qualifications: Experience
- 1+ yr. relevant payroll experience
- Customer service experience preferred
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Transportation or Logistics industry knowledge a plus

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
- Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
- A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs
