Regional Trainer - Internal Retail Program

We're hiring in OK, AR, CO, ID, & UT

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee and administer various training programs including recurrent and new store training
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance Maverik’s learning toolbox by contributing to design and development of new training programs, materials and processes
  • Deliver and oversee employee instruction including, enrollment, scheduling and preparation of instructional material aids and manuals, and facilitate instructor-led and web-based training
  • Proactively anticipate and mitigate challenges within company training programs before they arise
  • Support internal communications to share progress on the learning and development initiatives, creating strategies to drive their use
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback, recommending content edits to ensure delivery of learning objectives
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development, sharing ideas to increase learner engagement and effectively deliver key learning objectives
  • Occasional weekend /evening work required
  • Up to 50% travel required as needed
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:  Education  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications:  Experience

  • 5 + years of demonstrated training success required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
  • Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance compelling needs
  • A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems
  • Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making
