Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop applications using either Java and Spring Boot, or Angular, Flutter and Cordova.
  • Contribute, under the guidance of senior team members, to cross-functional development and integration projects.
  • Develop high-quality code in a timely manner.
  • Keep abreast with the latest application development and open-source technology where applicable and feasible.
  • Special projects, as assigned

Qualifications:  Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

Qualifications:  Experience

  • 2+ years of using Java or Angular.
  • 2+ years implementing RESTFul web services based on micro-service architecture.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Quality focused and detail oriented.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database design concepts, preferrd.
  • Experience with tools like Git, Monorepo, bug tracking and build tools such as Jenkins, preferred.
  • Experience working on Agile/SCRUM teams and using tools such as Jira, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline, preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
  • Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs
  • A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems
  • Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making
