Recruiting Processor - Solar Transport

Solar Transport is searching for a Recruiting Processor to join the team! This position is responsible for assisting in all aspects of recruitment for Solar Transport and will work independently and as part of a team in all areas of the recruitment process. What you’ll do

  • Provides recruitment support to the recruiting team
  • Assists in executing the recruitment strategy for all Solar positions including screening candidates, coordinating candidate drug screen and physicals, and completing all past employment verifications
  • Working with the Recruiting team; owns administrative duties and processing related to hiring
  • Tracks all incoming calls to determine origin of call, prospective driver name and contact information
  • Follows up on requests for applications that are requested by mail, email, fax, Internet, or phone
  • Filters through incoming internet applications for applications daily
  • Assists candidates with website, application, and verification processes
  • Tracks and reports on status of new drivers from application through hire
  • Provides management with key dates and information needed to call new drivers and welcome them

  • Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, comfortable with communicating via phone and email

Other key requirements

  • Knowledge of DOT hiring rules and regulations, preferred
  • Relocation to the Des Moines, IA area required
