Overnight Fleet Manager (Dispatcher) - Solar Transport

Solar Transport is searching for a Fleet Manager/Dispatcher to oversee and manage, all day-to-day driver and service-related activities and functions for assigned geographical/terminal driver locations. The Fleet Manager will ensure all driver needs are met with respect to on-time performance, error-free service, and driver satisfaction. What you’ll do

  • Dispatch Operations Management: Responsible and accountable for daily planning and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring that all orders are dispatched, and requested delivery windows are met
  • Responsible for day-to-day issues regarding service, equipment management, driver-related issues, and service deviations
  • Responsible for customer service provided by drivers in assigned operating territory
  • Maintain consistent and appropriate level of contact with drivers, trainers, and safety
  • Provide daily support for assigned drivers in operating territories

Other key requirements

  • 3 and 4-day work schedule, 12-hour shift availability required (7 pm – 7 am)
  • Truckload transportation industry experience preferred
