Are you an experienced driver or transportation recruiter looking for a new and exciting opportunity?
Solar Transport is growing and is looking for a Driver Recruiter to join the team. This role plays a critical role in the success of the overall Solar Transport business with a focused effort on recruiting and retaining top driver talent. The Driver Recruiter will understand the transportation industry and how attract experienced talent to the company.
What you’ll do
Develop and implement the recruiting process by passing on accurate and detailed information to prospective applicants.
Ensures that all applicants are fully informed as to what Solar Transport has to offer, company, and job expectations.
Understand and maintain ATS & TMS processes daily including Tenstreet, TMW.
Understand and keep current on the DOT qualification standards and company policies for new hire process.
Understands the DQF process and the application verification process.
Provide weekly content from workflow and projects to Recruiting Manager.
Participate in hiring fairs, truck shows, and marketing opportunities
What we’re looking for
1-2 years previous driver recruiting experience required.
1 year experience in the truckload transportation industry, strongly preferred.
Strong attention to details and urgency.
Technical Knowledge of DOT Hiring rules and regulations.
Ability to communicate quickly and decisively with peers and management.
Ability to work within and promote a positive teamwork environment.
Good computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Self-motivated and goal oriented.
Patient, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
