Krause Group is headquartered in Des Moines, IA and operates in a hybrid office setting. Our associates are onsite a few days each week. Role is not fully remote.

Krause Group is looking for a Director, Post-Merger Integration to join our growing company and team! This crucial and critical role will work cross-functionally to lead the post-merger integration process across Krause Group, from the acquisition of new businesses through the transition to business as usual. This role will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy around how all newly acquired businesses are integrated into the Krause Group organization.

Success in this role will require the ability to be forward-thinking, transformative, manage change and growth, and confidence to ask the right (tough) questions.

What you’ll do

  • Maximize value delivered from M&A activities

  • Develop and implement the overall organizational strategy for successful integration and provide early, strategic, and best practice insight to integration teams

  • Partner with the VP, Mergers & Acquisition, to create the overall M&A integration playbook including processes, methodology, tools, and best practices to accelerate speed and effectiveness of future integrations

  • Lead / support development of acquisition key tracking metrics aligned with transaction value drivers and synergy plan to drive performance management and coach cross-functional teams

  • Develop and launch integration workstreams by creating strategy around the road map

  • Lead cross-functional teams (including Finance, Grow People, Legal, IT, Brand, Business Operations etc.) to manage and resolve any interdependencies

  • Ensure common language and standardized approach to integration planning activities

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive background in international M&A, corporate development, post-merger integration work or project management experience with large scale projects

  • Leadership/managerial experience

  • Project management skills

  • Ability to complete time sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Creative problem solver who can think strategically

Other key requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree /MBA preferred

  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25-30% of the time

  • Relocation to the Des Moines, IA area is required
