Administrative Assistant – Solar Transport

Solar Transport is seeking an entry-level Administrative Assistant to provide a high level of administrative support by assisting with a diverse range of activities. This rewarding position has a high level of visibility and requires excellent communication skills, presentation, and PowerPoint skills.  If you’re organized, computer savvy, and enjoy supporting leadership, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the administrative point for key projects by assisting with the development and maintenance of project plans

  • Provide coordination and administrative support for Solar Senior Leadership by planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks for the Senior Leaders and their teams

  • Analyze and document business processes: work with select associates to document business processes and standard operating procedures. Provide management with feedback updates and recommendations

  • Schedule meetings, create agendas, and record key actions and decisions

  • Assist on special projects: manage the Solar Transport intranet site, driver wage data research, design customer presentations and communication, update Driver handbooks, and participate in quarterly QPS sessions

  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills required

  • Relocation to the Des Moines, IA area required
