Regional Fleet Assistant - Denver, CO

Solar Transport is looking to add a Regional Fleet Assistant to the team! The Regional Fleet Assistant will work with designated drivers, an assigned geographical driver base, and on specific task assignments while aiding with driver training, auditing, and equipment maintenance. 

What you’ll do

  • Driver Training & Education: Assist safety and training of new drivers
  • Driver Auditing & Remediation Training: Perform annual and bi-annual audits on all drivers in assigned fleet through observation and “ride-alongs”
  • Equipment, Supplies & Maintenance Coordination: Responsible for the scheduling of routine and unplanned equipment maintenance
  • Fleet Administration Assistance: Provide assistance to Senior Regional Operating Manager in assigned territory

  • Good interpersonal and relationship skills

  • Ability to effectively resolve conflicts in a business setting
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, accident and spill procedures
  • Self-motived and goal-oriented

Other key requirements

  • Truckload transportation industry experience required
  • Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements strongly preferred
  • Relocation to the Denver, CO area required

Wage Range: $72,000 - $83,000
